Anyone can say they install PPF. Fewer can show it. If you are putting expensive film on an expensive car, it is reasonable to ask who has trained, certified and recognised the people doing the work. Here is what stands behind Carsbuddy.
What "XPEL Certified" Means
XPEL sets the standard for paint protection film worldwide. Carsbuddy joined XPEL's certification programme in August 2021, after a year of hand-cutting patterns. In practice, that means:
- Technicians trained to the manufacturer's spec.
- Plotter patterns instead of guesswork: model-specific patterns cut for each car, rather than cutting film on the paint.
- Genuine XPEL film on every job.
- Backing from XPEL's warranty on qualifying work.

Our Written Warranty
Since January 2025 we offer written warranty coverage of up to ten years on qualifying PPF and coating work, honoured across our studios. The terms are handed over on paper at collection. Read what the warranty is and is not.

How to Check Any Installer's Claims
- Ask for the certification itself, not just a logo on a website.
- Ask which films they install and whether they are genuine.
- Ask what the written warranty covers and who honours it.
- Ask how the film is cut: model-specific patterns or by hand on the paint.
- Ask to see recent work on a car like yours.
